Boy, I'm so glad he reached out to me just the way I was and loved me completely and still does.

This is a heavy, loaded question for me and my initial thought was this:
great question. Jesus does love each and every one us more than we could ever understand. we aren't to take His love for granted. it doesn't give us a free ticket to do what we want and fall back on His unconditional love. i think it's dangerous to allow people to think that. yes He is forgiving and can wash away our sins but we are accountable and we will answer to Him.

i guess my point is yes He does love us in all our shortcomings but He would say, "Come to me, serve me and live your life in my image".

as I type this i am thinking of how short i fall of his glory and indeed He is awesome.

Cheeky- I agree with you in that we don't have a 'free ride' so to speak, my view was only a question of how the world must portray Jesus..He says come as you are..Not when you think you are 'perfect'. I ache for people who feel they have to completely clean up and get perfect before they run to Him.
